Aaron Brodeur is a painter and sculptor based in Middleborough, Massachusetts. He makes paintings and sculptures in their own right while exploring how the two disciplines intersect and inform each other. His work emerges through material curiosity, layered processes, and the accumulation of imagery, ideas, and forms. Drawing on personal mythology, cultural references, and art historical and psychological influences, Brodeur develops works that shift, combine, and resonate across forms, surfaces, and space.
Brodeur holds a BFA from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. He will present a solo exhibition at the Mary Cosgrove Dolphin Gallery at Worcester State University in March 2026. His work has been exhibited at the Fitchburg Art Museum, Cape Cod Museum of Art, Attleboro Arts Museum, New Bedford Art Museum, Boston Sculptors Gallery, and Readymade Gallery, as well as in numerous galleries and institutions. He is a two-time resident of Freight+Volume’s DNA Artist Residency Program and was a featured muralist at the Levitate Music and Arts Festival.
